The Ones We Love is an art project that features talented photographers from all across the world.
The project works like this: each artist contributes six photographs of the person(s) that is most important to them. The photographs are to be taken outdoors and in a natural setting.
The primary goal of the website is to show the people who are loved, cherished and inspirational to the artists. The project also showcases the differences and similarities in photographs of artists that share the same guidelines.

Now Play It is a new site dedicated to teaching YOU how to play your favorite songs. Now Play It is unique from other sites because it features real music and real artists all backed up by real learning techniques. If you want to learn how to play a song, there’s no better way to learn it than from the artists (professionals) themselves.
Some of the artists featured on the site include: Andrew WK, Bloc Party, Coldplay, David Bowie, Gorillaz, Kate Nash, N.E.R.D., Lily Allen, Maroon 5, Nirvana, Radiohead, Supergrass, The Cure, The Dandy Warhols, etc.
Fun Facts:
- There are three types of Now Play It tutorials:
1. “Full”: Split into three parts (the lesson, the recap, the play)
2. “Lite”: Split into two parts (the play through, the recap)
3. “In House”: Same format as “full” tutorial, but features Now Play It’s in house tutor and not the original artist.
- Instrument tutorials: guitar, keyboard/piano, drums, bass.
I love just about everything Free People, but especially their shoes and more specifically, their sandals. With the sandal season nearing it’s only fitting that I dedicate this blog to my shoe lust.
I say: go ahead and splurge on sandals (especially if you live in a state where they can be worn almost every day of the year – Arizonans, that’s you).
I first heard of the band Bumblebeez 81 years ago while watching Fuse. I was introduced to the band through their video for Pony Ride (see here). Any ways, I was intrigued and jotted their name down. After that I hadn’t heard very much else from the band and was convinced that they had dropped off the face of the planet (how cliché). Well, it’s not so my friends! Today, if you drop the 81and look up Bumblebeez, you will find them! I’m so excited to share. This is as new to me as it is to you (I haven’t heard their tunes in years).
It’s good to see that they’re still getting it done!
I have no song suggestion, I’m barely tasting them on my own ear palate.

Choke, based on Chuck Palahniuk’s fourth novel (Choke), is set to hit theaters on August 1st, 2008. The film was shot in New Jersey during the summer of 2007 (over approximately 30 days). Choke had its world premiere at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. At the festival it won the Best Ensemble Cast jury award.
